KIDS ON COURSE

My first job out of college was working for Kids on Course, a nonprofit program of the Zach Johnson Foundation. Kids on Course offers tutoring, enrichment, summer classes, and other supports for students attending one of the eight high poverty schools in Cedar Rapids, where the program is based.

They start in elementary school and follow them throughout their educational career, setting them up with a scholarship to attend post-secondary education/program. I worked with KOC for nearly a decade in a variety of positions - from working with kids to being the Director of Marketing.

Getting to redesign their website was the collision of my passion for the program and coming home to a brand that we developed from the ground up. Nearly all of the photos on the site are ones I took throughout the years of popping in and out of schools and meeting some of the best kids ever. I also shot all of the videos on the site during my time with Kids on Course.

It's an awesome program doing incredible things for kids in Cedar Rapids.
